3/17/2005 Something that has come up recently in one of my classes that I think is worth looking at more thoroughly is Hunter Thompson's influence on the blogosphere. It's my contention that he is pretty much the godfather of blogging in his own way. So far as I know he never had one himself but his style of inserting himself into the stories he wrote seems to be an influence on the way that a lot of bloggers, myself included, do their writing. Of course this raises the question is blogging journalism? Any thoughts?
