2/24/2004 Give up, It is pointless... This has been the personal message on top of every mailing that I receive from the local Catholic Worker, Casa Maria. Part serious, part inside-joke, now it's a mantra I'm taking to heart. It would be asinine to say that I didn't think we were all fucked and on the verge of a terrible global catastrophe but this report is just one more nail in the coffin. The worst part is that even the elements of our world that benefit least from releasing this sort of info, are in fact releasing it. Article in the Observer
